Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 | Siem Reap - Arrival

Meal: None
Upon your arrival, you will be greeted by our escort guide and driver then they transfer you directly to hotel for check in. Simply enjoy your own free time at hotel’s poolside.
Overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 2 | Siem Reap - Full Day Angkor Discovery

Meal: Breakfast, Lunch
Breakfast is at hotel. We’re journeying out (by Tuk Tuk or car) of hotel at 8.00am the South Gate of Angkor Thom atop 4 giant faces that religiously represents compassion, sympathy, equanimity and charity. Stroll around Bayon temple consisting of more than 200 smiling faces in stone, admired by interesting temples including Baphuon, Phimeanakas, terrace of leper king and terrace of elephant. Resume the journey to visit Ta Prohm temple adorned with the stunning, amazing tree roots where Lara Croft Tomb Raider was filmed. Enjoy Khmer set lunch at a selected local restaurant.

Afternoon, continue to witness the marvelous Angkor Wat - the world’s heritage listed by UNESCO in 1992 and the largest unrivaled monument in the world. Built by Suryavarman II in 12th Century, Angkor Wat is considered as one of the top destinations in Asia and is a must-see in your lifetime. Learning from your tour guide the amazing history, its ancestral incredible, architectural masterpieces and the finest carvings dates back to the Khmer Empire when it dominated the largest parts of Southeast Asia.
Note: Visiting beautiful sunset is available at Phnom Bakheng but with limit allowance.

Day 3 | Oxcart Ride & Kompong Phluk Village of Tonle Sap Lake

Meal: Breakfast, Dinner
After having breakfast, we head out of hotel at 8.00am for countryside sightseeing. At the same time, we grab the opportunity by taking ox cart ride venturing through home gardens overlooking rice fields, interact the local people and come across animals, and stilt houses. Continue heading to Kampong Phluk village of Tonle Sap Lake. We stroll around Rolous market to see trading activities before taking a boat trip along canal toward the centre of Kampong Phluk. Once we arrive, the boat begins to slow down to let you enjoy the surrounding admired by amazing houses atop high poles, come across the highlight of fishing activities as well as see people selling fruits/vegetable/meats on their boats, you sometimes see kids in student uniforms coming back from their classes. Witness how life works on the water and how people make the lake as home then we resume take canoe to explore the pleasant mangroves, enjoy the serenity while taking picturesque photos and you may see a few waterbirds. Continue by our boat to see the great lake of Tonle Sap, learn from your tour guide about ecosystem and its rich biosphere reserve. Return hotel for free time at poolside.
Evening, enjoy Khmer set dinner followed by traditional tribal dance show at Art Shadow restaurant with tranquil ambience.

Day 4 | Siem Reap – Phnom Kulen Waterfall & Apsara Performance

Meal: Breakfast, Dinner
Breakfast is at hotel. We’re journeying out at 8.00am to visit one of Cambodia’s national parks - popularly known as “Phnom Kulen” where you see the famous, beautiful waterfall in Siem Reap. Phnom Kulen (Mountain of Lychee) situates about 57km with approx. 1 hour drive, the site is regarded as the holy mountain for religious significance to Hindus and Buddhists and was the significant home of the ancient Khmer Empire when King Jayavarma II proclaimed independence from Java in 804 CE. The journey provides nice views of rice paddies, countryside dotting with palm trees and cattle. We will have a short visit at Preah Dak market to witness daily life of people selling their vegetables, meat and exchange the trades.
Enjoy the walking tour to see the giant reclining Buddha statue on the hilltop along with breathtaking, spectacular views and learn from your tour guide about historical site. Resume walking within the jungle to witness religious Hindu of the riverbed of 1000 linga carvings, next we move to observe the sacred ground-pool before we head to relax near the waterfall. From then, it is your own free time for cooling down, bathing, swimming and enjoying local lunch and fresh coconut juice nearby (own account). On the way back, we have a short visit at palm sugar village and other various local handicrafts.

Evening, transfer to have Khmer set dinner followed by traditional Apsara dance performance at a selected local restaurant.

Day 5 | Siem Reap – City Orientation, Silk Farm & Overland to Battambang

Meal: Breakfast
Breakfast is at hotel. We go for guided orientation at the finest Artisan Angkor wood/stone carving center which displays various defined handicrafts and silk products, continue to stroll around old market to see interesting daily trade as well as bargaining for local handmade products, paintings, lacquers, carvings, clothes, traditional crafts and so on.

Return hotel for refreshment and check out. We drive (3 hours) to Battambang Province, we will stop at Angkor Silk Farm and its famous workshop where you can observe local people produce the finest silk products, weaving activities, learn how they feed and take care the worms, and you will see various excellent silk woven items which you can purchase for family or friends when you fly back home. Check in at hotel in Battambang and have free time.

Day 6 | Battambang – Bamboo Train & The Surroundings

Meal: Breakfast, Dinner
Breakfast is at hotel. We set off to experience some fun on the famous bamboo train in Battambang, cruising on the track of the train rail while enjoying the highlight of rural landscape. Continue to wander around the infamous Prohoc market “Fermented Fish Market”, observe rice paper making, have chances to try the taste of Cambodian rice wine and learn how it is made before drive to visit ancient temple of Wat Ek Phnom – an Angkorain temple built in the 11th century.

Afternoon, continue our journey to visit traditional wooden house which was built a century ago during French Era and have a short tour that reveals a very interesting background regarding to its history. If time permits, we will stroll at Battambang winery before heading to Phnom Sampov where you enjoy the active walking up to the mountain to see the spectacular sunset, witness the killing caves and watch thousands of bats flying back to their homes.
Evening, enjoy dinner at a selected local restaurant.

Day 7 | Battambang to Preah Vihear & Khmer Rouge House

Meal: Breakfast
Breakfast is at hotel. We make the journey with 6.30 hours to Preah Vihear Province, drive passing beautiful countryside dotting with palm trees. On the way, we visit Ta Mok House – the historical site and a house who owned by the former Khmer Rouge Commander named “Ta Mok”. Witness tragic history and learn how Khmer Rouge organized their rebels to struggle against the government. Check in and simply have free time at hotel.

Day 8 | Preah Vihear & Koh Ker Temples

Meal: Breakfast
Breakfast is at hotel. Today we start our adventure tour to visit Preah Vihear temple atop a cliff in Dangrek Mountain. Once we arrived at the foot of the mountain, we process to take a 4 wheel-drive car going up directly to Preah Vihear Temple. Have the guided tour to unlock the mysterious history of this ancient Hindu temple which was built during the Angkor Time. Wander around to see the surroundings, take some photos of spectacular views. Return to our car, continue to visit an archaeological site of Pre-Angkorian temple - the very less touristy temple that Koh Ker has attracted more and more tourists to discover its ruins among the wilderness. Koh Ker temple was probably served as state temple of Khmer King Jayavarman IV, vertically arises in Pyramid shape with 7 tiers enhanced by impressive shrines. Learn from your tour guide about the significant city of Khmer Empire. Return hotel with free time.

Day 9 | Preah Vihear to Stung Treng & Sopheak Mitt Waterfall

Meal: Breakfast
Breakfast is at hotel. We check out and drive to Stung Treng Province. On the way, we stop to have a good breathtaking and capture photos of fascinating rapids of Sopheak Mitt falls, bordering Cambodia & Laos. Resume driving to Stung Treng, check in and enjoy free time.
Overnight in Stung Treng.

Day 10 | O'Svay Ecotourism, Koh Ksach, Mekong Island

Meal: Breakfast
Breakfast is at hotel. Today we journey out to Borey O’Svay Community based eco-tourism site, take local boat which slowly cruises along the mighty Mekong River admired by beautiful nature, river, lush forests then we disembark to stroll around the region and explore the pleasant wetland. Come across flocks of birds on the trees and enjoy taking picturesque photos of the stunning mother-nature. Continue the adventure to Koh Ksach where you enjoy the breathtaking, walking on the white sand river-beach and even you can swim around but don’t forget to bring along extra clothes. Return hotel and enjoy free time.

Day 11 | Stung Treng to Kratie & Irrawaddy Dolphin

Meal: Breakfast
Breakfast is at hotel. Check out then drive to Kratie Province with 2.30 hours, en-route to stroll around Wat Sasar Mouyrouy (100 column pagoda) with interesting legendary then resume driving to boat pier, take local boat to Koh Trong Island, disembark then continue by motor through the sandy road, passing local houses toward your hotel. Have free time after check in. We leave Koh Trong at 3.30pm to the mainland, head to Kampi pool where you take a local boat to capture the special glimpses of rare endangered freshwater Irrawaddy Dolphins and watch beautiful sunset over The Mekong River. Return to Koh Trong Island and spend an overnight.

Day 12 | Kratie to Mondulkiri & Bou Sra Waterfall

Meal: Breakfast
Breakfast is at hotel. Check out of hotel then we drive directly to Mondulkiri Province. Before we check in at hotel, we will head to see the most beautiful Bousra Waterfall in Mondulkiri, unwind yourself, cool off and relax by the falls (don’t forget to bring extra clothes if you wish to cool off under the falls). Continue our journey toward your hotel and cehck in.

Day 13 | Mondulkiri – Full Day Play with Elephant Family

Meal: Breakfast, Lunch
Breakfast is at hotel. We leave hotel at 8.00am to the Tree Lodge Bungalows where you be transferred to the starting point of the tour in Mondulkiri protecting area then we trek through the jungle to the Mondulkiri Project’s Jungle Lodge. Here you will listen to your guide talk about the Mondulkiri Project. Next it is time to meet the 5 elephants and their Mahouts. Take lots of photos, get close to the elephants and have fun feeding the elephants bananas. Watch as the elephants walk around eating bamboo and enjoying being elephants. You will also see them scratching against tree trunks and throwing dirt or mud on their backs. After lunch, we continue to the valley for swimming, washing and playing with lovely elephants until late afternoon. Heading back to our awaiting car then drive to our hotel.

Note: On this day, you will have elephant tour guide who leads you to see the surrounding and spend your day to bathe/play with elephants.
Overnight in Mondulkiri.

Day 14 | Mondulkiri to Phnom Penh

Meal: Breakfast
Breakfast is at hotel. We check out then drive to Kampong Cham where we visit Angkorian temple “Wat Nokor”. Resume the journey to Skun village – alternatively well-known as “spider village”, this is your chance to experience the taste of crispy bugs. Continue driving to Phnom Penh Capital, check in and simply have free time in the evening.

Day 15 | Phnom Penh – Tuol Sleng, Killing Field, National Museum & Sunset Cruise

Meal: Breakfast, Dinner
Breakfast is at hotel. Today our guide and driver meet you at hotel’s lobby at 8.00am then drive to witness the tragic site of Cheug Ek - the killing field that proceeded more than 20 thousands of civilians and the site is connecting with Tuol Sleng Museum - was the former school that was transformed to Tortured Prison S21. Stroll around Russian market for shopping.

Afternoon, we go for a guided tour at the National Museum, the world’s most important collection of Cambodian antique sculptures and carvings. Next, continue to visit Wat Phnom with interesting legendary of founding place of Phnom Penh Capital. Return hotel refreshment and short break.

Evening, we head to Phnom Penh's Riverside then get on board with a welcome cocktail from drink menu while the boat is slowly cruising along Mekong & Tonle Sap, watch the sunset fading at horizon before buffet dinner is started to serve, unwind yourself with colorful Phnom Penh nightlights. Disembark and return hotel.

Day 16 | Phnom Penh – Royal Palace & Market Tour By Rickshaw (Cyclo)

Meal: Breakfast, Lunch
Breakfast is at hotel. We leave hotel by car to take a challenge of cyclo ride (rickshaw) along riverfront for fantastic morning highlight of Phnom Penh Capital toward Independent Monument where we stop to capture some beautiful photos before resuming the ride to stroll around central market to see bustling local trades. Finished the cyclo ride at Royal Palace, we walk to visit The Royal Palace - a complex of buildings which are served as the royal residence for the King of Cambodia, admired by impressive Silver Pagoda with over 5000 solid silver tiles and other Royal Stupas, shrines, monuments etc.
Enjoy set lunch at a selected restaurant by the riverside. Return hotel and simply have free time at hotel’s poolside.

Day 17 | Phnom Penh – Free Time & Departure

Meal: Breakfast
Breakfast is at hotel. Today is reserved as free time for your own leisure. Our escort guide and driver will meet you at hotel’s lobby then transfers to Phnom Penh international airport for your flight back home.
